The following reporting proficiency scales provide information about the standards, skills and knowledge students and teachers are working within a specific discipline. The proficiency scales help with consistency in instruction and the skills and knowledge addressed across courses and teachers, although all grading involves some subjectivity. In addition to this broad look, teachers and students use other ongoing assessments to provide detailed data regarding student progress toward meeting our standards. Following are links to the reporting proficiency scales employed in grade levels and courses throughout our district.
Pursuant to section 120.12 (13) (b) of the Wisconsin State Statutes, the following lists and descriptions of the student academic standards and reporting proficiency scales shall be in effect for the 2023-24 school year. These standards were generated by utilizing the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards and the Wisconsin State Common Core Standards and are published and maintained on the District’s website and represent the School Board-approved standards in the specified academic content areas.
