Things to think about during your sophomore year:

- Think about a career
- Take a career assessment in Xello (f/k/a Career Cruising)
- Expect a lot of yourself
- Now that you know what career path you're on, do the following:
- Put together an academic portfolio
- Take the right high school classes
- Plan for standardized tests - ACT, PSAT, SAT, etc.
- Look into colleges

Questions about your future? Please seek help from your school counselor who can point you in the right direction. During your sophomore year, school counselors will be coming into your classroom to assist you in filling out your 4-Year Course Planner in Xello which will help you plan your courses for the remainder of your high school years. They will also be meeting with you regarding your career exploration by creating or updating your research in Xello.
