The German Club is an organization of students interested in the language and culture of German-speaking countries and international experiences. Activities may include construction of a homecoming float, attendance at the Holiday Folk Fair in Milwaukee, participation in German Day at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and German conversational practice through a "Stammtisch." German Club members determine each year's activities.
An important function of the German Club is to promote and support the Gutersloh Exchange program through fund raising and participation in activities with visiting Gutersloh students.
Students do not have to be currently enrolled in German to be a member. Any student with interest in international and German culture is welcome to join.
