Supervised Agriculture Experience Visits: Students who show at a fair or have an agriculture job have a SAE where they keep records of their progress in their field.
Officer Retreat: Portage FFA officers take a few days away from their busy summer schedule in order to develop leadership qualities, plan for the upcoming year and bond with each other
Agriculture Open House/ Chicken Cook-Out: In mid-August the FFA Alumni plans a great day for incoming freshman and anyone in the community to check out the agriculture department and have a great meal
Washington Leadership Conference: Members wanting to get more involved can apply for a scholarship in the spring. Students will find this to be the most rewarding experience. They will travel to D.C. and meet with members from around the U.S.
